Art is, by and large, something of a mystery to Enjolras. It's a deep concern of many of his friends, many dear and brilliant men, and he doesn't disdain it; still, he's never been able to muster much passion or understanding for it.
Bahorel, on the other hand, is a man who can muster a great deal of passion for art. Enjolras is happy to accept his word on the book's craft.
