Enjolras is startled to hear this, but there's some recognition in his frown as well.

"Les Misérables? I saw a few mentions of it in history books -- quite influential, it sounded as if his politics got somewhat more sensible eventually -- but I had no idea we were mentioned."

He knew it featured prostitutes and a convict, which was plenty of controversy all on its own, and that some of the action happened in 1832, and that it was full of social commentary. He approved of the little he knew, but hadn't seen any reason to investigate further.

"Which of us, and in what role?"
